        GAME B3 - CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
In a duel fitting of the two most prolific HLI offenses the Phantoms outgunned the Ice Dogs 10-9. Greg Bedard's fifth goal w/ 3:13 remaining deflected off Ice Dog defensemen Joe Vaddachino and somehow found its way into the net. In a game of runs, the Ice Dogs ambushed the Phantoms with five goals in the first five minutes of the second period to seize a 6-2 lead. The Phantoms stormed right back exploding for six unanswered goals of their own to recapture the lead at 8-6. The Dogs refused to lay down and battled back to tie at 8-8. The teams traded goals before Bedard's decisive tally sealed the championship. The Phantoms attack was led by Bedard's 5 goals and Mike Messina's 2 goals and 4 assists. The Dogs' Dan Meyer and Adam Lagnese each tallied a hat trick in a losing effort.
